Development Environment Consulting

The cheapest service is a remote review of your development environment, with a lot of advices and code examples (sample ant build files, sample ivy files) to make it cleaner and more effective.
Usually 1 to 2 days only are necessary.

Development Environment Booster Kit

We offer an in-house set up of a better development environment, reviewing your existing environment and setting up a better one with ant, ivy, enterprise repository with simple publishing process, and the ability for developers to use their own workspace components instead of enterprise one during development.
At the end of this setup, a fully working development environment will be ready to use in your company.
You will still have to migrate your projects to this new environment, following some simple steps.
Usually only 1 to 3 days in your offices are necessary.

Turnkey Option

You do not want to bother with the integration of your build files and process with the new fully working development environment ? You can ask us to migrate all your build stuff to the new environment, so that you just have to enjoy the power of clean dependency management and delivery process !
This option usually takes from 1 to 10 days, depending on the complexity of your existing builds and on the number of projects / components you use.

Continuous Integration Option

Have you ever heard of all the benefits of continuous integration ?
If you don't, have a look to Martin Fowler article on the subject. It may give you a good idea of why we strongly recommend setting up continuous integration for your projects.
With this option, we setup a fully working continuous integration environment (based upon cruise control and ivy), which takes the dependencies between your projects into account to know what should be built. With our setup, you can easily go back to any integration build, and promote it to a delivery if you want !
Moreover, this option usually takes only from 1 to 3 days.
